Terms of Service

The rules and conditions for using CaptureNInvoice.

Last updated: March 2026

1. Agreement to These Terms

By creating an account or using CaptureNInvoice ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of CaptureNInvoice, including contractors who create invoices and send them to clients.

2. What CaptureNInvoice Is

CaptureNInvoice is a software platform that helps service businesses create invoices, attach proof-of-work documentation, and collect payment from clients. We are a tool — we are not a party to any contract, agreement, or transaction between you and your clients.

3. Your Responsibilities

As a user of CaptureNInvoice, you are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information when creating your account and invoices
  • Ensuring the work, photos, and documentation you attach to invoices is accurate and truthful
  • Complying with all applicable laws in your country, state, or region — including tax obligations and business licensing requirements
  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • The content you upload, including photos and job notes
  • All communications and agreements with your clients

You must not use CaptureNInvoice to send fraudulent invoices, misrepresent completed work, or engage in any unlawful activity.

4. Payments and Stripe

Payment processing on CaptureNInvoice is handled by Stripe, a third-party payment provider. By accepting online payments through the Service, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

  • CaptureNInvoice does not hold, transfer, or store payment funds.
  • All payment transactions occur directly between you, your client, and Stripe.
  • Any disputes, chargebacks, or payment failures are governed by Stripe's policies.
  • Subscription fees for CaptureNInvoice are billed through Stripe and are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

5. No Guarantee of Payment Collection

CaptureNInvoice provides tools to help you send invoices and collect payment — but we cannot guarantee that your clients will pay. We are not responsible for unpaid invoices, failed payment attempts, or clients who refuse to pay.

The responsibility for collecting payment from your clients remains entirely with you.

6. Disputes Between Contractors and Clients

CaptureNInvoice is not involved in the relationship between you and your clients. Any disputes — including disagreements over the quality of work, payment amounts, or completed jobs — are solely between you and your client.

We will not mediate, arbitrate, or take sides in disputes between contractors and clients. We may cooperate with legal authorities if required by law.

7. Intellectual Property

Our platform: CaptureNInvoice and all associated software, design, branding, and content are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the platform without our written permission.

Your content: You retain ownership of all content you upload to CaptureNInvoice — including photos, invoice data, and job notes. By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to store and display it as necessary to operate the Service.

8. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms of Service
  • You use the platform for fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful purposes
  • Your subscription payment fails and is not resolved within a reasonable period
  • We are required to do so by law

You may cancel your account at any time. Upon cancellation, your access to the Service will end at the close of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for unused portions of a billing period.

9. Limitation of Liability

CaptureNInvoice is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We make no warranties — express or implied — about the reliability, accuracy, or availability of the Service.
  • We are not liable for any lost revenue, unpaid invoices, data loss, or indirect damages arising from your use of the Service.
  • Our total liability to you in any circumstance is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via a notice in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
