Access to production data is restricted to authorised personnel only, on a need-to-know basis. We don't browse your invoices or client data.

Data Protection

All data you store in CaptureNInvoice — including invoices, client details, job notes, and photos — is protected at every stage. Data is encrypted both in transit (using HTTPS) and at rest on our servers. We do not use your data for any purpose other than operating the service.

Payment Security

We use Stripe to handle all payment processing. Stripe is a PCI-DSS compliant payment platform trusted by millions of businesses worldwide.

  • We never store credit card numbers, CVVs, or any sensitive payment credentials on our servers.
  • When a client pays an invoice, the transaction goes directly through Stripe's secure infrastructure.
  • Your payout details are managed within Stripe's platform, not ours.

Account Security

Your account is protected by password authentication. To keep your account secure:

  • Use a strong, unique password for your CaptureNInvoice account.
  • Do not share your login credentials with anyone.
  • Log out of shared or public devices after use.
  • Contact us immediately if you suspect your account has been compromised.

Your Photos and Invoice Data

Photos you upload as proof of work and the invoice data you create are stored securely and are only accessible to you and the clients you choose to share invoices with. We do not share, sell, or expose your business data to third parties.

Infrastructure

CaptureNInvoice runs on reputable cloud infrastructure with built-in redundancy, regular backups, and uptime monitoring. Our hosting providers maintain their own rigorous security standards, and we work only with providers who take data protection seriously.
